"Change Your Voice, Change Your Life" by Dr. Morton Cooper 180 page, Macmillan Publishing Co., 1984 – This book DID change my life. Your voice DOES matter. It helped me to be able to talk for 8-hours without straining my vocal chords. The first 52 pages will transform you.

"The Charisma Book" Doe Lang, 370 pages, Wyden Books, 1980 – A real eye opener for building rapport and subtle keys to confidence and persuasion. It’s also filled with exercises from breathing to meditation.

 

"Be A Stand-Up Comic"(or just look like one) by Bob Stobener and R. Scott Edwards, 128 pages, Laughs Unlimited Inc., 1989 – A great resource for understanding humor, the process, the discipline, the lifestyle. A great many parallels between being a comic and being a Speaker. It demystified a great many things for me.
